This is an exploration, intended to serve the function of a bench. It is an object that speculates on aesthetic value systems outside of those defined by Western principles as “good.” It challenges the contemporary infatuation with the ideal form and the erasure of human participation when manifesting it. It turns, instead, to a sympathetic knowledge of the landscape and an embrace of decay in our reality.
